BFEProductions,
and its owner, have
produced, executed and promoted equine events, clinics and shows
for many years.
The events were in association with the Santa Barbara chapter of the
California Dressage Society and other equestrian groups in the Central
and South Coast regions from Moorpark to San Luis Obispo.
Blind
Faith's
objective is to reach across equestrian disciplines by
focusing on the relationship between horse and rider regardless of tack,
dress, competitive routines or breed.
Riding
should always be looked at in anticipation of enjoying the close
communication one can have with a proud and sensitive animal, willing to
give of itself. Whether it is jousting, roping, cutting, jumping,
racing, hunting, polo, equitation, dressage, pleasure horse or trail
riding, it all revolves around being one with one's steed and having
mutual respect for each other.
Like
many of us, I fell in love with Kingston, my first hackney
pony who I rode bareback in every way possible. He was my constant
companion. That kind of affection lasts a lifetime and finds expression
in the loving care with which a horse can be trained to do almost
anything. That, in essence, is what Blind Faith tries to promote in
events which either tests one's skills and resolve to succeed, teaches
one to do so more effectively, or simply entertains an audience with
equestrian showmanship.
To cover these
activities interestingly, we have presented them in separate chapters
