The objective of Blind Faith
Equine Productions is to encourage riders and
equine enthusiasts, with an emphasis on young equestrians, to
develop a yearning to learn more about the continuing development
of Dressage as an Art form.
We produce events that encourage our youth to
participate in events uniting equestrians with a love of horses in
all disciplines. Through
the continual development of riders and horses in clinic and show
environments,
as
well as
exhibition
and
education,
Blind Faith Equine Productions strives to bring each rider to a
new place in their evolution and pursuit of a relationship with
their equine partners.
The production of Dressage shows in Southern
California has become challenging. With Dressage shows nearly
every weekend somewhere in the southland, USEF/USDF regulations
essentially control the licensing of any rated show within a 100
mile radius of any other rated show. This limits the possibilities
of bringing more rated Dressage shows to a surrounding area such
as Santa Barbara. There have been rumors about lessening the
scope of these regulations, but so far they have just remained
rumors. In the past 7 years we have experienced a surge of new
Dressage Shows in Southern California that made it easier for
riders to find rated shows within one or two hours drive every
weekend. But that growth will now be limited unless there is a
change in regulations.
Junior and young riders face the additional
challenge of cost and transportation. Show fees have escalated
along with living costs, which in the end have to be borne by the
riders, since horse shows in America have not yet risen into the
ranks of spectator sports. For young entry-level riders to be
competitive it requires a bank roll to qualify for the basics.
Blind Faith is constantly looking for ways to deflect some of
these costs to encourage youthful riders to join the ranks for the
future of Dressage.
We welcome Sponsors who empathize with our vision
enough to support more incoming riders. We continuously seek
sponsorship support through scholarship awards, classes‛
sponsorships and club discounts. The same method can be used to
make space for young riders in our clinics and educational
opportunities.

Pony Clubs are a rich resource of young riders.
While they are mostly focused on Three Day Events, it is well to
keep in mind that their first day is devoted to Dressage. While
their tests differ somewhat, they are of the same community and
can make enthusiastic Dressage competitors, to the benefit of
their Pony Clubs.
There will always be a notable difference in a
Blind Faith Equestrian Production show, clinic or exhibition
performance. Their style will be overtly adventurous, upbeat,
filled with special features, awards/prizes and surprises to
attract new riders, and all disciplines of equine enthusiasts.
Join the team by volunteering at one of their
events or being a sponsor. The fulfillment of helping others is always
returned ten fold from the heart.
One is
not born into the world to do everything but to do something.
